Drumgasm from Halestorm
I did not stay for Loathe, let's be honest. It was going to be too late for me with 3 opening acts on a Wednesday night. Good thing I wasn't actually going to see them -- I came for Halestorm.
Amazing vocals, amazing drummer; probably among the best bands I've ever seen live. Such a quality show that it took some of the hurt out of the extraneous ticket cost. I would see Halestorm again and again and again.
The first two acts (Taking Dawn and Adelita's Way) were not bad. Taking Dawn warmed up the crowd well. They're trying to be Metallica but their single screams Nickelback. Adelita's Way seemed to be all about rock except for their "single" -- very odd that their song being played on the radio is so different from the style they want to portray. Not that either is bad, but just a little confusing.
